Turn it up, Monday morning: All-American Rejects

Week 31: All-American Rejects

Holy crap, it’s 2:30 a.m. and I’m up working still. And have been since the Wimbledon finals match ended Sunday. At 12:30 p.m. Needless to say . . . I feel like I’m in college : ) And that made me nostalgic for music that I blasted five or six years ago walking between classes. Or keeping myself awake at 2:30 a.m. And who did I think of? Well somewhere between Colbie Caillat, Akon, Panic at the Disco and Michael Buble I got most excited about listening to “It Ends Tonight” by All-American Rejects. Why? Only 2:30 a.m. knows. Crazy enough––this song was used on the commercial promoting the season 4 opener of “One Tree Hill” and the pairing of me loving this song at the time and also the huge suspense in the commercial that my entire dorm hall somehow became completely invested and obsessed in a teen drama. Still love that show. Still love this song. Happy Monday after a holiday, you guys. I think I’m going to need a keg of coffee.
